We went to explore Green Turtle around 10 am. We explored an adorable little beach resort and saw the octagon houses where dad and Aunt Caroline stayed one time in high school. The resort had only finished the repairs and opened a week ago! We walked all around the little town. There was a really pretty bay on the western side and the flowers that some people had in their yards were incredible. Our original plan had been to eat at the little resort, but it was getting late if we wanted to get to Pete's Pub before dark. So we headed back to the boat.

We set out for Pete's Pub/Little Harbour after dropping the mooring. The channel was no problem now that it was high tide. The sail was a long upwind battle, but not too crazy cause we were in the sound. We had been hoping we could take Aunt Caroline and Uncle Ian snorkelling at Sandy Cay, but there was just too many waves.

When we got to Pete's Pub we tried to get through the channel. It was too shallow (we were at low tide), and we got a line around our prop while trying. The owners of the rental place where we'll be staying the next few days came out to help us. He said that we could go and anchor around the bight to wait for higher tide. We did.

The prop wouldn't go into reverse when we went to anchor so dad dove to get the line off. At first, it seemed like we would be able to get the line off, but then we tried starting the engine and the last piece popped off. Then we packed and loaded the dinghy. We rode in while dad and Uncle Ian tried to get the boat through the channel again. It was a wet ride, but we made it! So did Running Tide.

We got dinner at Pete's Pub. It was good, but didn't come with any sides! After dinner, we said goodbye to Aunt Caroline and Uncle Ian and went to the rental place. The owners are really nice and the house is adorable. I love their 2 dogs, Inky and Heidi. We fell right asleep.
