When I woke up, we were just getting underway. The sail was nice, even though we hit a small rainstorm. By the time we pulled into AYC to pick up the Languths (my dad's friends from the Navy) for an afternoon sail, it had stopped raining. They brought a delicious lunch onboard- so nice of them!

We took the Langguths under the bay bridge before heading back to AYC, where we'll spend the night. Along the way, Clarke and I took Vera, their 6-year-old daughter, in the dinghy. She was a little bit scared at first but soon warmed up to it and ended up having a ton of fun!

Once we were back on land, my mom went to the Languths' house to do laundry while the boys and I stayed on the boat, cleaning. When we finished, we walked to get ice cream at Annapolis Ice Cream before meeting up with my mom and her brother, Uncle Mikey. While we were walking back we saw the Pattisons! The Pattisons are a family who sailed over from England and spent the summer with us at FBYC. Arthur and Alice, their 7 and 8-year-old children, are good friends with Cyrus.

The Pattisons ended up walking back to the boat with us. We had collected quite a large group of people, between my uncle, the Languths, and the Pattisons! The group dispersed with plans of breakfast with the Pattisons, a FaceTime with our cousins, and dinner with the Languths. Then we walked to the Languths' house. When we got there, Silas and Vera were already in bed. We watched the US Open over dinner and had ice cream (again!) for dessert. Then we walked back to the boat and went to bed. I loved seeing everyone!
