400 nautical miles

When I woke up we were about 4 hours from Charleston. We had the spinnaker up, but had to take it down after a little while because the wind got too light. Dad had a hard time getting a slip because it's Charleston Race Week. We finally found a slip on the outside of the Mega Dock. The inside is better, but at least we have a spot on the dock.

We had current against us going into Charleston, so it took a while. We said "goodbye" to Lark in the channel. She's a good boat to transit with cause she trip plans for 7 knots like us and can keep up with/push us. Then we headed to Safe Harbor Marina. We were put behind an original J boat, Ranger. It was beautiful. We filled with fuel and water, then did a thorough desalting-wash-down of the boat.

Once we finished we took quick showers.

We met the O'Connors in the parking lot. It's so nice to see them again! We played outside for a while. They just moved into the house they were renovating. It looks really nice! Dinner was amazing and we had a dance party afterwards. They gave us their Jeep to use for getting around Charleston. We stopped to get Tillamook ice cream on the way. Once at the boat, we ate it. I haven't had Tillamook ice cream in so long!
