When I woke up Clarke and dad were off exploring the island. I started my school work. When the boys came back we all went to see the iguanas. They were really cute and not at all shy! We explored for about an hour before heading back to the boat to finish school.

As the day went on the wind and waves built to the point that it was getting dangerous. The winds were 30 knots with gusts up to 40! The entrance to the normally protected anchorage was into the wind so the 4ft waves were rolling in and hitting us square on. We bounced so much that I started to feel sick if I stayed below too long. We were also worried about our anchorage dragging and us hitting the rocks about 350ft from the stern and our rudder hitting the ground in the trough of a wave. Soon enough we had our life jackets and harnesses on.

We decided to move to Highborne Cay. The dinghy still had stuff in it and the paddleboard wasn't on the deck so mom climbed in to help. But as a big set of waves came she was knocked out of the dinghy into the water, and rolled under the boat. Dad and I watched in terror. The boat slapped down really hard on top of her so dad jumped in to get her. She rolled out when the next wave came, completely unscathed. Thank goodness!

Soon we got everything stowed and pulled anchor headed for a slip at Highborne Marnia. The sail was windy but not as bad as the anchorage. We docked and were very thankful for the protection of the harbor. We took a quick bike ride and saw a parrot! Then we ate dinner at a cabana before going to bed.
