Clarke and Cyrus saved me 2 crepes for breakfast. After eating, I started my schoolwork. Around 10 am, Clarke came below deck with a bloody hand! I helped him clean it. Apparently, he was looking for fish along the water and fell in, landing on some rocks. Typical Clarke behavior!

The temperature was perfect. It was in the high 60s with a pleasant breeze from the east. Even though the sky was cloudy, it was still quite warm.

Later in the afternoon, we installed a new backstay. It was easier than I'd expected. After we finished installing it, we got cleaned up for dinner.

We met the Conants at The Deck, a restaurant in The Landings Country Club. Mr. Conant was one of my grandpa's good friends from the Naval Academy. Clarke, Cyrus, and I went swimming in the pool next to the restaurant while the adults caught up. Then we took showers and secured tables. I ordered a delicious, hand-tossed pizza. When we finished eating, Mrs. Conant got us ice cream. After a while, it got cold and windy so we said goodbye and went back to the boat. Then we went to bed.

I enjoyed having dinner with the Conants. They're so generous and kind!
