Beaver Mountain

We got an early start for Beaver Mountain to get as much skiing in as possible. By 9:45 am we were on the slopes. The day was cloudy with high winds and sleet, making it feel freezing. It doesn't sound like nice conditions, but we had fun anyway!

We mostly skied in the woods. I love going in the deep, soft powder and weaving between the pine and birch trees. Having tree forest above us was nice for blocking the wind and sleet too.

By 4 pm we called it a day, so my dad went to get hot chocolate. He came out with tater tots and chicken tenders in addition to the coco! The cafe worker gave the taters and tenders to us for free because the mountain was closing and he would have to throw the food away. That was really nice of him, and we enjoyed the food.

On the way back to the house, we stopped to get a sweet snack at Aggies Ice Cream. They make their ice cream from scratch with milk from cows at Utah State University. It was delicious! When we got home we ate dinner while watching Instant Family. It was a good movie and I would recommend it if you want a comedy.

I had so much fun skiing today!
