I did school all morning. Around 2 pm we got ready for our kayak adventure.

Our plan was to go around Robinson bight and find the blue hole to snorkel. Clarke and I were in a two-person kayak as well as mom and Cyrus, and dad was in a one-person. So we set off. Getting around the bight was hard. Waves were wrapping from the nearby inlet and would either break on the reefs or crash into the cliffs and bounce back, making it a crazy pit of sloshing water. We made it around, although dad almost flipped. We floated downwind to the entrance to the mangroves, where the blue hole was. We found that we would have to carry the kayaks over a slippery, muddy stretch of rock to get into the mangroves (because of the tide). It worked, but it was certainly tiring. As we kept going in the mangroves it started to get shallow. We had already kayaked over 2 miles and had to kayak the last 2 miles upwind, so we decided to head back. We took a different route that didn't involve carrying the kayaks. There were tons of turtles! It was crazy rounding the bight. The waves were somehow bigger now than before. We had them crashing into the kayak and threatening to flip us. All of us made it, though it was a wet ride.

When we got back to the condo we took showers and sat down to watch Guess Who. It's hilarious! Then we went to bed.
