We got the boat all buttoned up for the hurricane this morning. It's kind of scary that the boat could be damaged or even gone (although this isn't very likely) when we get back. Then we packed our bags and went to land. The train station wasn't far, so we walked there with our bags while dad got the dinghy out of the water at a nearby marina. We caught the 12:15 pm train to Guilford. When we got there Mrs. Smith picked us up. When we got there we dropped our bags in the rooms we were staying in, then got lunch. The Smiths have one thirteen-year-old boy, Wylder, and 11-year old triplet boys, Holden, Anderson, and Fischer. Fischer was with his uncle in New Hampshire at the time, so we never met him. The first time we met the Smiths was at the SE Champs in Camp Seagull cause we shared a cabin with them. Then we met up again at Nationals. It's so nice of them to let us stay at their house! We spent the rest of the day getting ready for the hurricane. We also had fun playing on their many toys. We went swimming and rode in their gator and golf cart, as well as riding their electric skateboard. We ate dinner around 7 pm, then played around until bedtime.
