We did a small little hike before dropping the mooring. It was a short motor to Hadley Harbor, and in no time we were on a mooring and getting ready to swim. The spinnaker pole rope swing was set up and paddleboards blown up. Then we jumped in. When mom went off she managed to hurt herself! She swung weirdly and ended up jerking her hands, resulting in her fingers getting swollen and her nails being pulled up. No fun! After lunch dad went to explore on land and Clarke went fishing, while the rest of us relaxed on the boat. Around 3 pm we dropped the mooring and set course for Menemsha, a small town on Martha's Vinyard. Coming out of Woods Hole cut was crazy! The current was ripping at 3.5 knots, luckily with us, but the water would swirl around and make us get set in weird directions. We made it through with no problems though. The current on some of those buoys was incredible! The rest of the sail was fun, and we anchored outside Menemsha around 5 pm. Then we dinghied in. The current going in the jetis was also crazy! We barely made it. Then we explored the town. Dad ended up getting some fresh Atlantic Salmon to have for dinner! After heading back we ate dinner (including some of the best salmon I've even had) and watched The Nanny Diaries.
