I woke up at 8:30 am to the smell of banana pancakes. I read until 9 am when we pulled anchor and headed for Daufuskie Island. As we were crossing the Calibogue Sound, we ate our delicious banana pancakes.

We arrived at the town dock (I docked the boat in about 3 knots of current) around 10:30 am and proceeded to rent a golf cart. We drove around the island for a while. It was beautiful! The island has a copious amount of live oaks with Spanish moss, and they, along with other greenery, covered dirt roads all over the island.

We ended our adventures around 2:30 pm. Then my dad and I navigated to the Savannah River, where we found an anchorage out of the way of the current. We encountered some troubles along our passage; it rained and we ran aground a few times, but we made it through!

My dad and I ate an extremely late lunch at 4:30 pm. We saw a rainbow that started maybe 100 ft away! It was cool to see a rainbow up close and there was even a pink stripe! The rest of the evening, we hung out around the boat before having a nice dinner and heading to bed.
