I woke up around 8 am to yet another overcast day. I started my schoolwork and finished by lunchtime. At this point, the clouds had cleared and the temperature was rising. I made lunch and read while I ate. Around 1 pm my dad picked me up to do laundry. Instead of doing laundry, however, we ended up spending the next hour trying to find the right size rope and chain for new anchor rode. This was tricky because we couldn't find our windlass model or the chain size that matched with it. We eventually decided on a size and proceeded to the Adair's house to do laundry.

When we got there, I started the laundry and sat down to read while my dad went to Staples with Mr. Adair. I folded our loads of laundry when they came out of the dryer and read the rest of the time.

My mom, Clarke, and Cyrus arrived for dinner around 5:30. We loved seeing Bo, their dog. He made me miss Marley! We had pasta and meat sauce for dinner. It was delicious, and so was the ice cream and homemade chocolate sauce that we had for dessert. Around 8:30 pm the boys lost their energy and started to fall asleep. We took that as a cue to head home! After saying goodnight, we went back to the boat and got in bed right away. The Adairs have been so nice to us!
