1 nautical mile

We were woken up early by a tug blaring its horn and asking us to move. It was annoying because we weren't even in the channel and we were anchored. But we pulled anyways and let the tug by. My dad surprised us by docking at Atlantis on Paradise Island! We did schoolwork until 8:45 when we got ready to head to the waterpark that opened at 9 am.

We walked through a really cool aquarium to get to the pool. When we arrived we found out that they opened one half today and the other half tomorrow. That's okay cause there's still lots of things to do!

We started on the innertube ride. You go down a twisty, dark slide before popping out in a clear tube through a shark tank. After going down a few times Then we did the challenger slide, which is a straight shot to the bottom. You can also race someone.

We started to get hungry so we got lunch. The food was good and we were glad to have something in our stomachs.

Cyrus found a new friend when he went to play, so Clerke and I tagged along. We went in the hot tub and down a few other slides before deciding to do the Leap of Faith. It's a 60ft drop into a tube that runs through a shark tank. The ride's over in about 3 seconds cause you go 65 mph! I went down 3 times trying to convince Clarke to do it. He didn't, but that's okay. Cyrus surprised us all by getting to the top and not even pausing to go down!

Around 5 pm we headed back to the boat. My mom and I stopped to take showers before going back and eating dinner. After we finished a family that we had met by the pool stopped by. They're on their catamaran at the dock a little farther down. We talked for a little bit and made plans to possibly meet up in the Exumas!

Atlantis was SO fun and I can't wait to go on the other half tomorrow morning!
