I woke up just as we were pulling anchor. We were headed to Great Harbour Cay in the Berry Islands to anchor for the night.

We motored with our jib out for a little while before putting out the spinnaker. With that sail up we could turn off the engine and still average above 8 knots with 2 knots of current against us! The sail was peaceful and we arrived at the anchorage around 5:30 pm.

We took the spinnaker down and started to head into the cove. But as my dad was checking the wind forecast again we saw that the forecast had shifted and the anchorage was no longer protected. We would also have big winds to Nassau the next day. So we decided to keep on sailing.

Clarke and I stood the first watch until 10 pm before my dad and mom took over. We anchored in Nassau around midnight.
