I made pancakes this morning. We had them as a mid-morning snack. Then I started my work. I stopped once to go for a swim and paddleboard ride. Mom went snorkeling with Hermione and Alice while Clarke fished and the Troublesome Two/Partners in Crime (otherwise known as Cyrus and Arthur) ran around. My dad tried one of the Pattison's hydrofoils.

We had a picnic lunch on the beach. Dad didn't come cause he had to do some work. Then I went for a sail on Arthur's opti. It was fun to get in a small boat again! I sailed around for at least an hour; there was some nice breeze. Then I went back to Running Tide. After rinsing off I read while mom made some dinner to bring to the bonfire.

The Pattisons came to pick us up since the boys took all our modes of transportation to the beach. It was tight but it worked! We found out that Clarke had kept his fire burning all afternoon. Dad quickly snuffed it out -- it was in a bed of pine needles! Then we started a big fire on the beach. We roasted stick-bread and hot dogs in the fire. We also had tuna, rice, and salad. After we finished eating we roasted some marshmallows. Alice got sand in her eyes when the boys snuffed out the fire, so her parents took her back to Alisara to wash it out. We cleaned up before having another tight dinghy ride to the boats. Arthur came to our boat for a sleepover.
