Eagle Point/Powder Mountain

We packed quickly and stuffed all of our belongings in the car. Then we checked out of the condo that we had rented for so long. After turning in our keys, we rode up to the Monarch lift to say goodbye to all the friends we had made during our time at Eagle Point.

Jessie skied a run with us and Clarke got his wish fulfilled: to ride with a ski patroller on the lift. We said goodbye to all the lift operators we had gotten used to seeing over the past month. Then we said goodbye to our favorite shuttle driver, Jerry. He is a stonemason and might come to do some stonework at our house in Richmond. After saying all of our goodbyes, we skied to the other lift and took a few last runs. Then we headed back up to Monarch and got in the car.

We stopped for one last ice cream at The Creamery on our way out. A couple of hours later, we ate dinner at Costa Vida in Ogden. We got to watch indoor surfing right next door to the Costa Vida. It was fun watching people surf through the glass wall that separated the restaurant and the surf shop. After eating, we stopped at the grocery store before continuing to Powder Mountain.

When we got to the apartment in Powder, we realized the place wasn't a one-bedroom like the booking website said! It had a big living area, 3 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. We found it hilarious that it was listed as such a small space and was such a reasonable price! We crashed into bed as soon as the car was unpacked.
