I woke up and did some schoolwork. Soon we left to go for a walk. Eleuthera Island seems to be a nice mix of populated and remote. The walk was pretty and the wind helped cool the temp down. We got back to the boat around noon. Then we hopped over to the fuel dock.

The Pattisons came to say goodbye. It's been so fun cruising with them this past week! We all hated to part, but we were grateful for the extra days spent with them. We hope to see them in Deltaville for Junior Week and we promised to come visit them in England when they get off the boat.

After filling up the tanks we got underway for Glass Window Beach. It's the thinnest point on the island at only 100ft across. The ocean has carved out a natural arch. We took a shortcut through the sandbanks off Cape Eleuthera. Along the way, we stopped for a quick snorkel. There wasn't any coral, but it was still fun!

We got to the anchorage around 7:30 pm. It was beautiful. The spot reminded us of Maine. A tropical Maine! We watched the sun go down over dinner.
