We woke up to yet another foggy morning. After breakfast we paddled around and rode in the dinghy. We even found a way to tow the paddle boards behind the dinghy and do a slow version of wakeboarding- waddleboarding! When my dad came up he pushed everyone into the water so we took a group swim for a little bit. The water was really cold so dad made me swim around another boat and back if I wanted to get out! By the time I got back to the boat I was so warm from the swim that I didn’t need to get out anymore! After lunch we rigged a rope swing off the spinnaker pole. It was lots of fun! My dad and I both did a backflip off the swing. Once we finished our swimming escapades, we took hot showers and ate some delicious Giffords Moose Tracks ice cream. It was extra soft because our freezer temperature wasn't as cold as normal- we weren’t able to run the engine to get the temperature down. Since we were staying on a friend's mooring, we decided to spend the night in Blue Hill instead of Northeast Harbor in Acadia. It rained later that night, so we did some schoolwork and learned about diesel engine maintenance. We had a good dinner and learned about scuba diving, momentum of objects, and sailboat designs before heading to bed.
