40 nautical miles

I was woken up at 7 am, but it felt like 8 am because of daylight savings. We had a big breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and fruit. We pulled anchor around 9 am and got the sail up right away.

The wind was blowing strong so the boat heeled over a lot! Everyone became "rail meat" (sitting on the windward rail) until the spray started drenching us. Then we moved into the cockpit. We took the sails down in Adams Creek. Unfortunately, we lost our American flag off the stern of the boat while sailing. We ate lunch and played Uno until it started raining. Then we watched Maleficent 2 in the forward stateroom.

The boat was docked at Town Creek Marina by 3 pm. Then we all took showers and got ready for dinner in town. By 4:45 pm, we were walking to the Black Sheep restaurant to have dinner. After a delicious dinner, we got dessert to celebrate my mom's birthday. When we got back to the boat we hung out for a little bit before heading to bed.
