I woke up to the smell of banana pancakes. I jumped out of bed to get ready before breakfast was served. It was nice to eat warm pancakes since the wind was so cold.

We were underway by 9 am, headed into the ICW. Everyone was bundled up in lots of layers because of the cold, strong wind coming from our bow. When we entered the Neuse River, we put up the sail and set course for Goose Creek, a creek farther up the Neuse River. After lunch, the parents hid bags of candy around the boat for us to find. Once everyone had their bags, we traded candy until everyone was satisfied.

By 4 pm, we were anchored in Goose Creek. Sofia, Lanie, and I blew up the dinghy and headed to shore, along with Cyrus. We explored a cute little piece of woodland before heading back to the boat for dinner. The food was warm and felt nice since it was so cold outside. Afterward, there were barely any leftovers, so clean-up was easy! After cleaning up, we watched Maleficent on the bow. It was cold, but the sleeping bags and pillows kept us warm. Clarke caught 2 catfish during the movie! We all went to bed after it was finished.
