65 nautical miles

We ended up leaving later than we were planning because my dad decided we should all take showers. Once everyone was clean we untied and got underway. The sail was fun, even though there wasn't a ton of wind. There were still big swells, but we stayed topside and no one got seasick. Along the way, we saw a 5-foot tuna jump fully out of the water, and a whale breach 2-3 times! I had been spotting dolphins that no one else saw, so they thought I was crazy. I wasn't, and today I proved them that I wasn't seeing things!

Once in Rockport we ate a quick dinner and rode in to shore. We saw an art gallery with beautiful paintings and a hand-blown glass shop while we were walking around. Before we went back to the boat we got some ice cream (duh). The water was REALLY clear and there was a bunch of bioluminescence. It lit up while we rode back in the dinghy! Rockport, MA is a really cute town and I would highly recommend!
