I woke up and tried to get as much work as possible done before 10 am when we were going exploring with the Pattisons. We left for the mangroves together but we took it easy on our battery. We had a dolphin play right in front of the bow! When we got to the entrance we found it was going to be tricky. There were shallow reefs that the waves would break on and only a small, partially sandy cut to get in that we hoped would work. It did, thank goodness!

The mangroves were really cool. We put on our snorkel masks as soon as we got in. There was a barracuda at least 3ft long that swam right past us. We saw lots of turtles and even a lemon shark, which the 3 boys chased on an inflatable paddleboard. Then we headed back to the boat. Alice, Arthur, Clarke, and Cyrus towed on the paddleboard all the way to the boats. They flipped a few times when they tried standing up to "surf" a wave. Our battery conched out just as we got to the boat.

We had a quick lunch before going to snorkel. Cyrus, Arthur, and Alice skipped snorkeling to go surf. Clarke joined them once he was done. The reefs weren't very colorful but the shapes were really cool and the fish were amazing. When we were done we dinghied back to the boat with plans to have hors d'oeuvres with the Pattisons. They came to our boat while the kids stayed on Alisara. Cyrus stayed over there for a sleepover.
