I did school work all morning. My dad got us through customs and it helped that there were 2 nice ladies there so the process wasn't as frustrating. Clarke and Cyrus had fun exploring, playing, fishing... really anything but schoolwork!

Mid-morning my dad came by with a freshly cut coconut! We drank the water inside before having it cut in half and eating the jelly inside. It was really good!

I finished school and went over by the pool to read. A little while later my dad came running telling us to go to the boat. We ran back down the dock and when we got there we saw a huge manatee drinking water from a hose right at the stern! Apparently, Mr. T (that's what we named him) swam up to the back of the boat while my dad was working. Someone told him that the manatees love fresh water so he turned on the hose. My dad thought Mr. T would drink for a little and go away, but he just stayed around. That's when my dad went to get us. We got to pet Mr. T and my dad even went swimming with him! After about 30 minutes we turned the water off and watched Mr. T swim away.

While the manatee was at the back another family came to see him. My dad started taking with them. They were from Australia and were sailing for a few years on the boat that they bought in Deltaville! Clarke and Cyrus loved playing with their son, Griffin. They spotted 2 nurse sharks and a sea turtle! Clarke and Cyrus were going snorkeling, so they invited Griffin and his dad. They had fun and we even ended up making plans to eat together. Around 10 pm we went to bed.

It was fun to see the manatee and meet the new family.
