Mom's Covid test finally came at 8 am this morning. My dad did some work and by 11 am we were underway. The inlet was really rough because of all the waves bouncing between the jetis. Once we were out of the channel the waves became a steady 5ft and we put the sails up. We averaged over 8 knots the entire journey. Mom, Clarke, and Cyrus slept for most of the sail. We got to West End as the sun was setting. The taking down of our sails was crazy. The waves were coming at us from the side and we were rolling back and forth. I almost went overboard! After getting the sail down we pulled into the harbor and docked. A little later a customs person came down the dock so dad went with him to get checked in. He came back 2 hours later very frustrated and not checked in. Then we had dinner and went to bed.
