Powder Mountain

We did school all morning because Dad needed to make some work calls. We headed to the mountain after lunch.

It snowed a little bit last night and this morning, so the slopes were even nicer to ski on than yesterday. Mom's demo skis were more playful and better for powder than her old Volkls. She said the demos were fast and fun to ski on, but not great for doing powerful carves.

We did a few more runs on the Hidden Lake lift before exploring another side of the mountain. A ski patroller skied with us to the lifts on the other side to make sure we didn't get lost along our way. He was really nice! He took us to the Village lift, then over to Mary's Bowl. The Village lift was mostly for beginners, but Mary's Bowl had nice terrain. We would have done more runs on Mary's Bowl, but it was exceptionally windy since we were on the opposite side of the mountain. We headed back to the Hidden Lake lift after a couple of runs.

We skied until the lifts closed, then went back to the house. After taking showers and returning mom's demo skis, we watched Bedtime Stories. I really liked the movie!
