I woke up at 8 am to a frigid day. There was a strong, cold wind blowing that didn't help either. I finished my schoolwork by 11 am and proceeded to fill water tanks and wash off the deck. My hands and toes were numb and I was soaking wet by the time I finished!

Around 12:15 pm Mrs. Leslie visited the boat to say goodbye, just in case we left while she was gone. She also insisted that we eat lunch at her house with the food in her fridge. We took her up on her offer. After eating the boys took showers.

Around 2 pm, we picked up our rental car before splitting up to run different errands. The boys went in one of Mrs. Leslies' cars to pick up our new anchor line and chain from West Marine. My mom and I took the rental car to the boat and packed everything into the car except the things we needed for sleeping. We are going to leave for Richmond early tomorrow, so the car needs to be pre-packed! By 6 pm the important package we'd been waiting for still hadn't come. We made plans to stay at the dock another night in hopes that it would arrive before tomorrow morning.

The Richardsons made us a reservation for dinner at SCYC. They are the founders/owners of the yacht club, which I think is so cool! We got dressed in nice clothes and headed to the club. We had an amazing dinner and, afterward, took a picture in front of the club for Mrs. Leslie. We also got a slice of Snickers pie to share for dessert!

When we got back to the boat I helped my dad get the dinghy packed away. Then I climbed in bed.
